Do we need to install anything?
No. Edubrains runs in a browser, so it works on the office computer, a laptop at home and a teacher's phone without anything being installed or updated.
What happens to our existing records?
You can import students and staff from an Excel sheet. The import shows you a preview and an error report before anything is saved, so a wrong column does not become 400 wrong records.
Can we use our own web address?
Yes. Every school gets a free Edubrains address immediately, and you can connect your own domain from Settings once you verify you own it.
How is our data kept separate from other schools?
Each school is isolated at the database level, enforced on every query rather than by filtering the interface. A user signed in at one school cannot reach another school's records even by editing the address bar.
Do parents need smartphones?
No. The essential notifications — absence, fee due, result published — go by SMS to any mobile phone. Parents with smartphones can also sign in to see fees, attendance and results.
Which examination boards are supported?
All the Pakistani boards — Federal, every BISE, Aga Khan — plus Cambridge O and A Level. You choose yours at signup, and the grading scale is configurable per school.
What does the free trial include?
Everything in the plan you choose, for 14 days, with no card required. If you stop, your data is kept and nothing is deleted while you decide.
How do we pay?
Bank transfer or deposit, which is how most Pakistani schools prefer to pay. Upload the proof of payment and your subscription is verified and extended.
Can we run more than one campus?
Yes. Campuses live under one school account with shared settings, and staff can be given access to one campus or all of them.
What if we need help setting up?
Setup support is included. We will walk through your class structure, fee heads and first import with you over a call.
