Terms of service

These are the operating terms for using Edubrains. They are written to be read rather than skipped, but a school should still have them reviewed before signing up for a paid plan.
01. The service
Edubrains is school management software provided over the internet. A school creates an account, receives its own address, and its staff sign in to manage students, fees, attendance, exams and related records.
02. Accounts and responsibility
The person who registers a school becomes its owner and is responsible for who else is given access and what role they hold. Each user is responsible for keeping their own password confidential. A school should remove access for staff who leave.
03. Free trial
New schools receive a free trial of the length shown on the pricing page, with no card required. At the end of the trial a school may subscribe or stop. If it stops, the data is retained for a period rather than deleted immediately, so nothing is lost if the decision changes.
04. Fees and payment
Subscriptions are charged per school per month or per year, in Pakistani Rupees, at the price shown when the subscription starts. Payment is normally by bank transfer, with the deposit slip uploaded for verification. A price change never applies retroactively to a running subscription period.
05. Renewal and cancellation
A subscription continues until cancelled. A school may cancel at any time and retains access until the end of the period already paid for. There is no lock-in period and no cancellation fee.
06. Your data
A school owns the records it enters. Edubrains stores and processes them on the school's behalf. A school may export its data at any time and may request permanent deletion. We do not sell school data or use it for any purpose other than providing the service.
07. Acceptable use
The service must not be used to store unlawful content, to send messages a recipient has not consented to receive, or to attempt to access another school's data. Attempting to circumvent the separation between schools is grounds for immediate suspension.
08. Availability
We aim for the service to be continuously available and will give notice of planned maintenance where practical. Availability can be affected by circumstances outside our control, including connectivity and power in Pakistan.
09. Support
Setup support is included with every plan. Support is available Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm PKT, by phone, WhatsApp and email.
10. Suspension
An account may be suspended for non-payment after notice, or immediately for a serious breach of acceptable use. A suspended school's data is retained and access is restored when the cause is resolved.
11. Liability
Edubrains is provided as a tool for a school to run its own operations. A school remains responsible for the accuracy of the records it enters and for its own regulatory obligations, including anything it submits to an examination board.
12. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, schools with active accounts will be notified before the change takes effect, and may cancel if they do not accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
